Kemena GmbH also uses Girls' Day to introduce young talents to the various career opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, Girl's Day was organised and run by our trainees. On 26 April 2018, eleven participants visited various stations to learn everything there is to know about warehouse logistics, vehicle scheduling, truck repairs and maintenance, navigation, tracking &amp; tracing and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eGirl's Day is an important event for us every year,\u201c says Alicia Jording (Head of Human Resources), \u201ebecause we use this day to present our company and promote training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk. Although the logistics industry is not fundamentally a \u201amale domain\u2018, young people tend to receive poor advice about the actual activities involved and, in particular, the career opportunities.
