Back in 1996, long before the term 'green logistics' was on everyone's lips, KEMENA acquired its own rail port in order to fully take advantage of the benefits of rail transport. Building on this, we have developed a holistic strategy that focuses on environmentally friendly and resource-efficient logistics processes. For our customers, this means access to an intelligent transport concept that is also prepared for the growing environmental requirements for heavy goods vehicles and developments such as rising tolls, driving bans and environmental zones.

We rely on transport by rail or ship. Otherwise, we use our modern, low-emission trucks.

The best waste in your supply chain is the waste that is never created in the first place. That is why we use packaging that can be reused. We also recycle whenever possible.

Our logistics centers are so intelligent that they save electricity. Thanks to modern energy management systems. The energy they need is supplied by photovoltaic systems.

We will find out how your goods can be transported smartly by road or rail to their destination and when water or air transport is the best option. Our logistics centers are equipped with photovoltaic systems as standard. Green energy improves our carbon footprint and supplies our sites with clean electricity.

The most climate-friendly emissions are those that are not produced in the first place. That is why we are investing in e-mobility, hydrogen technology and alternative drive systems. Our long-term goal is CO₂ neutrality.
